I am a non citizen of United States, but i have my sister a citizen and a nurse living in NJ,?
will this be an advantage for me? Will there be a school who is willing to petition foreginer teachers to work with them?
Honestly, anyone who shows a true desire in the education of our children deserves a spot…there are too many schools that employ teachers who's only concern is pay day…If it takes people from other countries that REALLY WANT TO DO THE JOB to do it,I'm all for it!…To hell with teachers who don't want to teach…should we consider them first during the interviewing process just because they're from the states…HELL NO… THE CHILDREN COME FIRST!….
P.S…If you truly enjoy helping children to grow mentally ( and emotionally) please find out the proper protocol to becoming a citizen and getting a job at one of these schools…good teachers are hard to find
Good Luck,
HEAVY

It's sad that most foreigners only want to come here to work and nothing else matters.
There are many thousands of teachers graduating from American colleges every year. And you feel you deserve a job in their country ahead of them?
I do give credit to your sister who is a citizen. Be proud.

The only way you'll be able to be a teacher is if you have a degree from an accredited institution and you meet all of the requirements that everyone else has to meet as part of the No Child Left Behind Act. Teacher now have to be "highly qualified", so I'm not too sure you'll be able to get a teaching job here.

If your sister is a citizen she can apply for you to come to the USA as a lawful permanent resident. The only problem is, it takes years and years..
